I have attended Teatro Zinzanni several times at full price. When I saw it on Goldstar I jumped on the chance to save 40%. I go there for special occasions such as birthdays or graduations.

The show is always good. If you are shy about audiance participation you might be a little uncomfortable. I don't think that there is any place in the cosy environment that is safe for you if you fit the type they are looking for in their skits. However, only a few people are chosen and I guess you could gracefully refuse.

Dress-Up is optional, but I take the opportunity to put on glitter and get fancy. I think most people dress up. Some come in jeans and whatever.

The show changes every 3 or 4 months and I try never to see the same show twice. The food is quite good. You pay extra for alcoholic drinks, but a full dinner is included with coffee.

Be prepared to surrender your credit card at the beginning for any extra charges. I never do this. I always pay cash at the end of the show. However, this last time I was asked to give a deposit of I think $20 or $30 per person (I can't recall exactly) in lieu of the credit card. I had never been asked this before. Luckily I had the cash.

There is parking in the rear. It is now $11 cash to be put in a machine. There is $6 parking down the street. It is really convenient to park in back and just walk in the rear entrance.

The show and dinner lasts about 3 hours. The dinner is woven into the show.

Should of read the fine print. I had good seats the last time I attended this. However, this time I had terrible seats and when I asked the person in charge, he informed me that since I had bought "cheap tickets through Goldstar" I will by default be assigned the worst seats. If I were given better seats, than it would be a mistake on their part. They advise me that if I wanted to get better seats, don't go through Goldstar Events.

More Details About This Event:

Teatro ZinZanni was created by Pacific Northwest non-profit arts and events producer One Reel in 1998 and enjoyed a sold-out 14 month run in Seattle before bringing its antique “spiegeltent” to San Francisco in 2000, now located at its permanent home on Pier 29 along The City’s Embarcadero.

Teatro ZinZanni breaks new artistic territory with this intoxicating blend of interactive theater, spectacle, fine arts and fine dining, put together under the artistic direction of One Reel's Norman Langill.

The ever changing cast at Teatro ZinZanni features world-class practitioners of some of the oldest and most time honored traditions in entertainment.  It is truly an extraordinary ensemble, of a caliber unlikely seen anywhere else in the world.  We know you will enjoy the distinctive magic that is created by these incredible talents with fine cuisine and lively music presented in our intimate “jewel box” venue.  The evening includes a lavish 5-course gourmet dinner, which includes a choice of four magnificent entrees, which include a vegetarian and a vegan selection.

Seating is general admission only and at the discretion of the house night of the show.  Generally, they are unable to seat parties together that order separately.
