One of today's rising comedy stars, Barry Rothbart recently made his debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where he killed it with his easy, natural disposition and quirky personal stories about everything from the bizarre things he's seen around L.A. to his vision of what he'll be like as an old man. He can be seen on TV in national commercials for Taco Bell, Honda and Miller Light, and in TNT's Men of a Certain Age and the 2012 season of MTV's Punk'd. Rothbart was named a "Best of the Fest" performer at the 2011 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and has been seen on TBS's Conan. He's even got a role in the upcoming Martin Scorsese movie The Wolf of Wall Street. See him in person at the San Francisco Punch Line. Learn More

Meatball sandwich was good. Bread toasted and came w/ salted potato chips.
Manhattan without the cherry or cherry juice makes this a stiff, enjoyable drink!
You can come casual or business casual.

I went with 5 other people to this event. It was the first time at the venue for 4 of us and we all loved Punchline! The staff was very attentive and the show was very well organized. The comedians were all hilarious! Although the food and drinks were quite pricey (it is San Francisco, after all), we all enjoyed the event.

My date enjoyed it a lot more than I did. There were a couple of odd comedians which I didn't think were very funny - host and the Jewish guy. Indian guy was ok. Everyone else did better. There was really only one nerdy reference which my love appreciated about mega man or something? I really only chuckled at the non-nerdy jokes. Most of the jokes, however weren't nerdy but I appreciated that. It appeared as though most of the audience enjoyed themselves. I liked the last guy and his racist jokes. Wow. Really? Lol. There were some uncomfortable reactions and that was pretty funny too. I really enjoyed the meatball sandwich which came with potato chips. Mmm. Service was good too.
