The acting is great - the play, not so. A small slightly dank-smelling space. Don't go too early - there's nowhere to wait and the neighborhood is a little scary and closed-down at night.Written on Mar 07 2008

2 out of 2 for custom made (slavs and Liz). redeemed themselves and then some from The Water Engine! The young actors have such talent and do the Sedaris script very well. Too bad Neil Simon is next on their list.Written on Apr 18 2008

Description

Four brilliant actors play a cast of dozens, from Mr. Peanut to cockney-speaking Ukranians to the mysterious Squeamish, in this 90 minute hysterical satire from the demented mind of not one, but two, Sedaris's.
Sister Elizabeth Donderstock is Squeamish, has been her whole life. She makes cheese balls (traditional and smoky) that sustain the existence of her entire religious community, Clusterhaven. However, she feels unappreciated among her Squeamish brethren, and she decides to try her luck in the outside world. Serious questions arise: Can the Squeamish be saved? Will the cheese balls ever taste good again? The answers to these and so many other questions can be found in the brilliant comedy from the Talent Family, David and Amy Sedaris.
