star this review starred report as inappropriateAndy Bumatai really made the night. He was the definitive Bumatai. A really polished, tight and funny set. Great to see him as on fire as he was. First time seeing Ogata and Tanaka. Give Ogata a plus and Tanaka a maybe. Great venue, terrific service. Thanks for an enjoyable night!
star this review starred report as inappropriateI thought it was a great evening out. Monday is weird, but, just the same it was a good turnout and quite enjoyable. We were placed at a good table and we enjoyed the comedians very much. Haven't seen Andy Bumatai since we lived in Hawaii in the early 80's......wow.

More Information About The Hawaiian Bunch: Comedians Andy Bumatai, Paul Ogata and Cathy Tanaka
Description
Andy Bumatai has been at stand-up comedy for 30 years. Starting in Hawai`i, where he is a comedy icon, he has traveled extensively as a headliner in comedy clubs across America and as an opening act, on tour, with some of the biggest names in show business including Tom Jones, Paul Anka, Kenny Loggins The Beach Boys and Lionel Richie. For the last year and half Andy has hosted a prime time talk show seen five nights a week in Hawai`i and an online talk show seen around the globe. Andy has recently relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and is in production of a new talk show from San Francisco. This move allows Andy to, once again, return to the nightclub stage.
How many award-winning comedians are also award-winning porn stars? In 2007, Paul Ogata swept to victory in the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition, joining previous winners such as including Dana Carvey and Sinbad. In September of 2009, the movie "Porndogs", in which Paul co-stars with Ron Jeremy and the late Marilyn Chambers, took the top prize at the Sydney Underground Film Festival. This December, look for Paul as he headlines Showtime's "Slanted Comedy".
As a former student of Andy Bumatai's, Cathy Tanaka learned from the best and her star is on the rise. In just a short time since moving to Los Angeles from Honolulu, Cathy has become a regular at the city's top clubs. Cathy has also appeared in a Jennifer Lopez video and several national television commercials.
