Dat Phan, best known as the winner of the first season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, headlines the annual Far Easter show at Cobb's Comedy Club. Since winning the hit TV stand-up competition, Phan has been seen on The Tonight Show and Fox's Family Guy, and headlined clubs and theaters around the country. He's known for his clever and funny observations about everyday -- and not-so-everyday -- life in America today. He'll be joined by some of the top Asian comedians from the Bay Area and beyond. The Kims of Comedy bring their popular show starring Steve Byrne, Ken Jeong and Kevin Shea back to Cobb’s famous stage.
Steve Byrne has filmed a Comedy Central 1/2 Hour Special that was voted 8th out of 120 by viewers in Comedy Central’s Stand Up Showdown. He was also the winner of MySpace’s Stand Up Sit Down on TBS. In 2006 Steve performed at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, Can West Comedy Festival in Vancouver and the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He can also be seen on NBC’s new show, The Real Wedding Crashers, and most recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Also appearing is Ken Jeong, who has made appearances on The Office, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Ken made his feature film debut in Knocked Up and also had a role in The Pineapple Express. He recently completed filming All About Steve starring Sandra Bullock, Little Big Men starring Paul Rudd, and The Goods: The Don Ready Story, starring Jeremy Piven. He also made a cameo appearance in the recent film Step Brothers.
Kevin Shea performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal which led to an appearance on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. He has also performed multiple times on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
