Dat Phan, best known as the winner of the first season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, headlines the annual Far Easter show at Cobb's Comedy Club. Since winning the hit TV stand-up competition, Phan has been seen on The Tonight Show and Fox's Family Guy, and headlined clubs and theaters around the country. He's known for his clever and funny observations about everyday -- and not-so-everyday -- life in America today. He'll be joined by some of the top Asian comedians from the Bay Area and beyond. ANT was terrific! He is always so full of love for his fans. The other comedians were so - so. ANT has some special aura around him, and he brings people together in kindness. I have yet to meet an obnoxious fan of his. Everyone is just full of love and light!
Cobb's staff as always was very nice.
Hyper, irreverent, comedian Ant has steadily climbed the comedy hill to become one of America’s most successful comedians. A regular guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ant is the only comedian to appear on all four seasons of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, as talent and then as the celebrity judge. Currently he hosts VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club and stars in the LOGO series, “U.S. of ANT.” His hit stand-up DVD, “ANT: America’s Ready” is available in stores now.
Also appearing is Dat Phan, winner of the inaugural season of NBC’s smash comedy hit “Last Comic Standing.” Dat has since starred in his own “Comedy Central Presents…” special and appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. He also has released two CDs.
Matt Kirshen’s precision wit has already earned him an impressive reputation on the UK comedy circuit. His engagingly impish style is shot through with an intelligent and skillful talent that belies his youthful appearance, making him a firm favorite with audiences and fellow comedians alike. With an impressive array of awards and press accolades under his belt, Matt stormed the Edinburgh Festival with his first solo show. Matt’s many international appearances include The Laughter Lounge, Dublin, and gigs for both English-speaking and local audiences in Dubai, Oman, Singapore, Malta, Holland, France, Austria and Germany, and, most recently, The USA.
