We had friends in town, so picked up extra tickets to the show. It was an amusing evening, including several genuinely touching moments.

The show was cute and had Rudnick's trademark quips. Not a great play but fun.

Mildly amusing show with several laugh-out-loud lines. One of Rudnick's weaker plays.

I thought the first act was entertaining with some great one-liners. The performances were all quite good but I don't feel the 2nd act worked. There was no real reason why the characters should have or could have come together and there really didn't seem any point to it.

Description

The New Century
by Paul Rudnick
directed by George Maguire

From the playwright who brought us The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Valhalla and I Hate Hamlet comes a rollicking evening of inter-related stories turning gay stereotypes into bullet-deflecting armor and jokes into an inexhaustible supply of ammunition.
