Meanwhile, Abigail is only fantasizing about having a bigger role in the story and getting her own monologue. Then there's Anne's sister Helen and her husband, whom Anne only married because of his good looks. This drop-dead funny and scathingly honest portrayal of the battle between the sexes is also a delightful skewering of the American theater canon. Luckily, this sold-out show is going to be reprised. I laughed until tears ran down my face. The woman next to me said, when she could catch her breath, that her stomach hurt from laughing so hard. And...behind the humor there was insight after insight that stopped me in my tracks, led me gently to consider my own foibles and left me uplifted and energized. Watch for announcements about new dates.

Wow. Alicia is a force of Nature, and an incredible actress. She is willing to share the most intimate details of her past, even if it provokes some uneasiness in herself and her audience! She reminds me a little of Lennie Bruce, and at times, Margaret Cho. She is a superb storyteller, and provides much food for thought on the subjects of Co-dependency, Polyamory, and love and sex addiction. I was lucky enough to get a ticket for this sold-out show, and this was her last performance (of THIS run). So, keep your eyes peeled for when it returns! Bravo, Alicia. You are a brave and funny Soul.
