Feedback from audience members' hearing aids (which are meant to be turned off when using the theatre's listening devices) was a problem. A distinct high-pitched squeal.

We went to Kombu for dinner (747 Market St. 4th floor). We had a GotDailyDeals coupon, and it was a wonderful experience- great cuisine, service and view.

This is a play you need to see. The acting was great and really drew us into the story. Great couples evening. It will make you pray for rain.

Description

A classic American romance, _The Rainmaker is a refreshingly heartfelt fable about a con man, a country girl, and the way that love can overcome cynicism in even the most tired of souls. T_he Rainmaker centers on the charismatic huckster Starbuck, who travels the heartland selling snake-oil and other dubious miracle cures. At the drought-stricken Curry farm, Starbuck promises to make it rain—for a price, of course. But when he and Lizzie, the lone daughter of the family, discover a genuine chemistry, they begin to consider the possibility of a real miracle.
