Mostly low-end cleverness, often didn't use audience-submitted topics very well, insultingly terrible fake accents. Overall pretty amateurish, though it seemed funny to the twenty something crowd that was at the theater's party just prior (perhaps their friends?). Use of video screen has potential - which was realized only a couple of times.

Tilted Frame has a nice idea -- incorporating media into its improv. Its execution, however, lacked. I wanted to fall asleep in the theatre. It started off with a bang that quickly sizzled, then snoozed. It went far too long. I was considering shooting myself by the time they were done performing.
The highlight of the evening was Street Light People, TF's guest for the night. While its narrative was a bit twisted and the adherence to improv principles was flexible, the show was a lot of fun with a lot of humor and a lot of energy. I enjoyed it and would see them again.

Created during the dot com-era of San Francisco by Combined Artform in 2002, Tilted Frame examines the world of technology and entertainment. Bringing some of the original members, mixed with new ones to create a newly developed improv show for you, with some of our signature pieces like Craigslist and P.O.V.. Each show is digital and original.
Combined Artform/Theatre Asylum
Founded in 1998, C.A.F.E. (Combined Artform Entertainment) is on a mission to develop and combine all art forms to pioneer the "arts of the future," as well as be an active and supporting member of the San Francisco--and now Los Angeles--performance production scene. Created by Producing Artistic Director Matthew Quinn, and joined by Steve Kahn in 1999, C.A.F.E. has collaborated with actors, singers, filmmakers, sketch comedy groups, musicians, improvisers and fine artists in more than 100 shows, including Santaland Diaries, Eavesdropper (SF), Monday Night Improv Jam (SF), Thursday Night Improv Jam (LA), PAPA (at the Eureka with Open Fist), Tilted Frame Improv and the SF Solo Festival.
