The oboe solo by William Bennett was excellent. The rest of the music was pretty good. The conductor was really fun to watch.

Watching Tortelier' conduct was a symphony of movement--a performance well worth the price of admission.

William Bennett's collapse aside, the music was superb, and watching Mr Tortelier conduct was akin to watching a dancer. His movements were light, lithe, a perfect fit with the music he was directing. Getting back into the groove must have been...continued

This concert made for a very, very enjoyable afternoon. We had excellent seats which were only 7 rows back from the stage. GOLDSTAR did not disappoint.

The symphony, conductor, and soloist were wonderful, I only hoping that the latter who suffered a serious medical problem makes a successful recovery.

Listening to the music was just as fulfilling as watching the beautiful ballet of Tortelier's conducting. It made us all smile. What a delightful way to spend an afternoon!
