Trampoline Hall -- the quirky, Toronto-based lecture series that's been favorably compared to This American Life -- comes to San Francisco. Hosted by The Chairs Are Where the People Go authors Misha Glouberman and Sheila Heti, Trampoline Hall features the hosts exploring topics as far-ranging as how often you should see your parents to why computers seem to only ever last for three years. Guest lecturers -- here, The Believer's Andrew Leland and indie artist Clare Rojas -- also make short, interesting and creative presentations.

My favorite bit was Clare Rojas, I'm a big fan of her work. Hearing a bit about her life was quite wonderful.

MC and first performer very funny. After that boring, especial amd theiy the book reading. Last performer very un professonal. Like someone reading a high school essay. I like their concept of theatre. Needs to be better executed.

It's kind of indescribable. A radio show, book talk, improv. theater, storytelling. It was funny, creative, boring, infuriating and wonderful. It certainly made for a lot of good conversation afterwards, trying to figure out whether the 2 talks were theatre, or true confessions. Or both.
