With a background in stand-up comedy and the award-winning solo show Eat, Pray, Laugh under her belt, Alicia Dattner's new one-woman show The Oy of Sex is a good bet if you're looking for laughter. Dattner recounts stories of unrequited love, interminable virginity, a list of loony lovers, and a dysfunctional family for an uproarious tale of sex, drugs ... and more sex. Dattner has performed with Arj Barker, Maria Bamford, Bill Santiago, and Moshe Kasher at comedy clubs in New York, L.A. and London. She was recently named "Best Comedian" by SF Weekly. Learn More
Marsh Youth Theater 2011 Teen Touring Troupe presents Truthtopia based on Mark Twain’s brilliant story, The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg. What happens when a mysterious stranger abandons a suitcase full of money in the midst of a respectable town of honest model citizens? Chaos, of course! MYT students portray Twain’s satirical story of temptation, greed and treachery by creating an up-to-date version with an original script and sets, set to exuberant music and dance. Timely? Greed never goes out of style!
The show is appropriate for all ages and runs 75 minutes, without an intermission.
