Sharon McNight presents her show Twisted Xmas: A Druid's Guide to the Holidays at the Rrazz Room. A Tony nominee and Theatre World Award winner for 1989's Starmites, Sharon has become one of America's top cabaret stars. She's known for her wicked sense of humor and brassy renditions of blues, country and Broadway tunes. McNight offers an alternative choice from the expected holiday songs. She has stockpiled myriad and outrageous, wacky musical commentaries on the 12 days of everything from Santa, Jesus, Teddy Bears, Elves, Snow, and of course ... Bette Davis.

Smooth Soul at the Rrazz Room With the Dramatics

Full Price:
$50.00
Our Price:
$25.00

Enjoy some classic smooth soul and quiet storm R&B in the sophisticated and intimate setting of the Rrazz Room, one of San Francisco's premiere night clubs. In their early '70s heyday, the Dramatics were an anomaly: a Detroit singing group signed not to their famed hometown label, Motown, but to the legendary Southern soul label Stax/Volt. Their sound, as heard on hit singles like "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get" and "In the Rain," straddles both worlds, combining the Temptations-like silky-smooth harmonies of Motown with the earthiness of Memphis-style soul. Still performing after more than 40 years, the group features veteran member L.J. Reynolds along with Willie Ford, Donald Albert and Winzell Kelly. Learn More

Sharon was in top form delivering delightful parodies of holiday classics winding them together with her wonderful storytellling skills. She did a great job of dealing with a heckler in the audience and as always, her imitations and comedic timing were flawless. Look forward to seeing her again.

Would be a 5-star rating except for the RRazz Room's new policy regarding Goldstar ticket holders. We were the second folks in line and they seated us in the very back stating that this was the seating area for Goldstar members. When my friends and I saw Sharon during the summer, we were given excellent seats. We complained and were moved only slightly forward.
