This was great fun. And, it was even better when we won ! I would recommend doing one of the Watson Adventures' hunts.Written on May 18 2009

We were half hour late to the meeting point, but luckily we still found the Watson leader. I recommend allowing yourself plenty of time to get there because sometimes they close down the garage and you are stuck with street parking (which is near impossible on weekends). If you happen to be late, look around and behind the large staircase for the person with a red cap. We found her not at the foot of the staircase but around the corner next to the bench counting papers. Again, we were late though.Written on Aug 17 2009
The scavenger hunt itself was enjoyable. Each team has a different starting point, and work their way down the list of clues. At times you might bump into other teams carrying the familiar bright color paper. Some clues are easier than others, so do take note of the time and skip questions accordingly. I did not like that four people had to share two clue sheets, and at times we were fighting for the clue sheet to understand the question better. I think six people would be too many people in a team, since even four people seemed chaotic at times. During the hunt, the Watson leader can be seen walking around making sure teams follow the rules of sticking together.
After the scavenger event, you still have about a hour to walk through the museum again. Please note that the museum admission tickets does not include special exhibits.

I thought the hunt was a lot of fun. My only complaint is that you're competing with other teams for a prize and it's not fair when you have a team of 2 and another team is a team of 6. Obviously they'd have an advantage.Written on Dec 13 2010

Really fun event. Come with your own group of friends and plan for a super nerdy, fun afternoon. The event was well organized and challenging. If you like trivia (even if you don't) you pick up clues from around the museum and race to the finish line. Good times.Written on Jan 18 2010

Description
Someone, or some thing, has been bumping off museum staffers involved in acquiring an ancient Aztec relic. Is it the dreaded Curse of Itlkilyu? Or is a serial killer on the loose? Your team of sleuths will have to crack a hieroglyphic code and uncover the museum’s secrets to stop the killings. This is our most challenging hunt, so the more sleuths you bring on your team, the better your chances of figuring out whodunnit.
Please note: This is a new version of our previous De Young and De Restless Scavenger Hunt. If you participated in that hunt, beware that you may already know most of the answers to this hunt.
