The wine experts at Crushpad present a series of educational wine-tasting events at their state-of-the-art winery. Each session offers a fun and unique opportunity to sample multiple wines from a particular region or type of grape while sharpening your palate and learning about the winemaking process.
Upcoming Schedule:
July 22: Tasting Tour of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons
Cabernet reigns supreme in Napa Valley. For this comparative tasting, Crushpad will explore the distinct microclimates of The Valley: high elevation vineyards, valley floor and marine-influenced locations.
During the tasting, experts will detail Napa's growing history, while exploring the influence of climate & geology in shaping styles of Cabernet coming out of each area.
July 29: Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Seminar
Celebrate summer with an examination of this aromatic white grape. Crushpad combs Napa, Sonoma, Santa Barbara, South Africa, Sancerre and the land of hobbits (New Zealand) for unique interpretations of the grape while exploring the roles of acidity, malolactic fermentation, stainless steel and oak.
If you have a favorite Sauvignon Blanc you'd like to share, you are welcome to bring a bottle. They'll discuss & review what decisions may have been made to highlight the flavors in that particular bottle.
