Play, explore and experience the world of pirates! The Ye Olde Velocity Circus Pirate Academy features a team of slightly unprincipled, playfully deceitful scoundrels and rascallettes that will teach you how to walk, talk and present yourself in only the most proper pirate ways. If their teachings don't take hold, you may just have to walk the plank and kerplunk! Fun for all ages.

This was very lame. It was not worth the discounted price of $5! They advertised that you would learn rope tie ing - nope they did not teach that. They said you would learn sword fighting - well only if the child was "normal". Special need children were given a minimal amount of time. The whole thing was set up like a fun house and not done at well!

This event was okay. It was listed as regularly priced at $10/ticket. I think if I paid the full price I would have been really upset. It was amateurish and felt thrown together. There were a couple of very good "performances," by two of the "actors" but the entire thing lasted all of 10-15 minutes. My boys (ages 8 and 5) liked it, but weren't thrilled. They had more fun in the bounce houses they had set up on the grass (not related to the pirate event) for $2. Instead of paying $35 for 5 of us, I could have spent $4 for the bounce houses and had a better experience.
