Really enjoyed it! The Improv is a really beautiful venue and the staff did a great job of providing good customer service. Loved the show---I needed a good laugh! All the comedians did a great job! Jay Larson was my favorite---his routine included a lot of funny stuff about every day things that we can all relate to and that we all find ourselves doing!

More Information About April Macie and Jay Larson with Sarah Tiana

Description

April Macie travels the world collecting stories and experiences, which she then translates into humorous, relatable tales in front of audiences worldwide. April has been to over 23 countries, 9 of those performing stand-up comedy (not fellatio) for the troops, was a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing, has appeared on E! Entertainment, Sirius and XM radio, Access Hollywood, Talk Soup and was labeled an "emerging talent to watch" by the Hollywood Reporter at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

April is a regular guest on the Howard Stern show, where she was voted the "Funniest and Hottest" comedian in America. She is currently being featured in the documentary, "I Am Comic" premiering at the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival and she now spends most of her time traveling the United States as a headlining stand-up comedian.

Jay Larson's strong perspective and imagination landed him at the 2005 Montreal Comedy Festival where Variety Magazine noted him as one of the top new faces and Time Out New York described him as “a unique voice worth supporting.” Later that year jay was selected "Best of the Fest" at Vancouver Comedy festival and made his network television debut on the Late late show. Jay has since done the show again as well as Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" and AMC's Date Night.

Sarah Tiana has been a working comedian in Los Angeles since 2003. Originally from Calhoun, GA, Sarah’s act emphasizes the ups and downs of a Southern childhood while peppering in her opinions of race and religion, or her lack thereof. Recently Sarah has been recognized for her “breakout performance” in four episodes as Carmen on Reno 911!’s 7th season. In 2005 she helped create a sketch comedy company called The Strait Jacket Society as a way to help young actors in Hollywood accelerate their stage time and gain exposure while still having fun. This sketch comedy experience also helped her become the only female performer on Showtime’s “Jeff Garcia’s Low Budget Madness.”

A downright American, Sarah has done several tours of comedy for the troops and a recent trip to Iraq is highlighted in the documentary film, “We Love You Mrs. Bevins” (available on Amazon and Netflix). Currently performing at the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas every month, Sarah has also toured with Brett Butler in “The Southern Belles of Comedy.” Sarah has also been seen on E!, the TV Guide Channel, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and NFL.com. She will never be seen in the three pilots she taped last year or on a date of any kind.
