Author, How to Win a Cosmic War: God, Globalization, and the End of War on Terror
Aslan contends that religion is a stronger force today than it was a century ago. He provides further insight on the ideology of al-Qaida, the Taliban and other militants in the Muslim world and explores religious violence in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Aslan hopes to start refocusing the country's priorities. Rather than go to war, he says we should look at the grievances that push the disenfranchised into battle.
