Take a doo-wop and Motown music-filled journey through the streets of Skid Row to a struggling flower shop where meek worker Seymour has discovered an exotic plant that makes him an overnight sensation. One problem: the plant apparently craves human blood. This campy classic -- one of the longest-running shows in off-Broadway history -- was based on a '60s B-film and later made into an '80s blockbuster starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. Relive delightfully dark tunes like "Somewhere That's Green" and "Suddenly, Seymour" as the nerdy-but-lovable underdog romances his sweetheart and fights the monstrous plant -- which, it turns out, is actually an alien intent on world domination. If you love broadway performances and 1920-30s era jazz music, this is truly an entertaining performance not to be missed. The caliber of singing, dancing, music score, and script delivery were terrific. The script for the female inmates were hilarious. The cast was amazing. My friends and I became invested in the characters and their flaws: we felt sorry for the husband and empathized with Velma and Roxy. What a class act. The seatings at the balcony level was nose bleed and minimu visualization of any facial expression. Bring binoculars. You can always move closer due to the available seats. The price and performance exceeds expectation. The sound quality was exceptionally great.

Awesome. I bought 4 seats and we were in row 10. :) Very happy with the venue, the seating, and of course, the show. WOW. I can't believe they can dance in those heels! And, you can't hear them click clack on the stage either. Fantastic.
There’s never been a better time to experience Chicago, Broadway’s razzle-dazzle smash. This triumphant hit musical is the recipient of six Tony Awards®, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy® and thousands of standing ovations. A sensational tale of sin, corruption and all that jazz, it’s no surprise that Chicago has wowed audiences from Mexico City to Moscow, from Sao Paulo to South Africa. And now it’s coming to San Jose!
Chicago has everything: knockout dancing, an edge-of-your-seat story and one showstopper after another. If you loved the Academy Award®-winning film, nothing beats the live show, and if you are already intimately acquainted with the musical, experience that sizzle again, Chicago always delivers.
