The last date listed for Comedian Doug Stanhope was Thursday September 18, 2014 / 8:00pm (Doors at 6:30pm).
There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. It is pretty busy in the evening, especially when there are other events/shows and sports events on the same night as an Improv show. Plan ahead for long waits to dine and packed parking lots. In other words, get there early.Rex Navarrete dining • Dec 17 2014 star this tip starred
The weather was clear, brisk winter night. . I wore a short sleeved shirt. My past experience with this venue is that it gets stuffy. Layering is best. I had a thicker winter coat that I placed over my lap and was quite comfortable the entire show. .Rex Navarrete dress • Dec 17 2014 star this tip starred

I have to preface this review with the fact that Doug is a very polarizing comedian. My wife did not enjoy his show at all, but my other friends and I were rolling in the aisles from Doug's complete and utter lack of regard for humanity in general. He can come off as quite bitter and jaded, not to mention abrasive and even gut-wrenchingly self-effacing, but if that doesn't bother you, you're in for a treat. Underneath all of Doug's scummy, smelly, crusty, ugly exterior is an incredible comic genius. He hits highbrow and lowbrow at the same time with every punch.
