There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. It is pretty busy in the evening, especially when there are other events/shows and sports events on the same night as an Improv show. Plan ahead for long waits to dine and packed parking lots. In other words, get there early.

The weather was clear, brisk winter night. . I wore a short sleeved shirt. My past experience with this venue is that it gets stuffy. Layering is best. I had a thicker winter coat that I placed over my lap and was quite comfortable the entire show. .

Description

During the late ’70’s, a porcelain skinned child by the name of Jarrod Harris was conceived in a trailer after a can of Beanie Weenies and countless PBRs. After winning his sperm race, Jarrod soon realized what he had actually won: two crappy parents and a single wide trailer they didn’t even own. Often times, people with no education, money, or future are determined to better their situation by humping and thus making a new mouth to feed. That mouth is then left with two options, jail, or making comedy out of his misfortunes by complaining about it to rooms full of strangers all over the country. Jarrod is best described as an atypical southern comic. His comedy is autobiographical, silly, dark, and oftentimes absurd. At last count, Jarrod has four chest hairs.

Jarrod’s stand-up has been seen on the We Channel, Tru TV, Comcast Comedy on Demand, and in comedy clubs all over the country.
