    THE SEATS WERE EXCELLENT!
THE FIGHTS WERE PRETTY GOOD, A COUPLE OF THEM WERE A LOT OF DANCING AROUND, BUT THAT'S ALWAYS A POSSIBILITY WITH BOXING.

I was a little apprehensive with not getting specified seats but our seats were absolutely perfect. The Women's match sucked, the heavy weight fight sucked as the tall pear shaped guy was street-fighter with dirty tricks, and lighter weight classes were more exciting to watch. Wasn't too impressed with the ring girls. The nacho chips were a little stale.

The seats were great, don't be fooled you purchase tickets in SECTION 1-4. Each section has rows. We were in row 6 on the floor. We were also given passes to the VIP room. All we did was ask at information if there were any perks since we bought through Goldstar. Downside was in the VIP room, you still have to pay for drinks and food. Parking was easy as we got there an hour early we were able to park on the street. All of my family enjoyed.

The fight action was explosive and hugely entertaining and each and every fight was a war !
Kelsey lost her belt, but I thought it was very close. Hopefully she gets a re-match, because one of the judges scores was terrible, not to say an insult to Kelsey. I will go to all these Fight Night installments, because they are just great and keep up the great work Goldstar !

    Thanks,

    Mike Abundiz

I can't believe how lucky we were to get such excellent seats at an unbelievable price. My husband and I have been enjoying Fight Night this year immensely. I usually do not care for sporting events but am surprised by how fun the energy is during live Boxing matches and how different it is than on television. I would (surprisingly) highly recommend attending. It is a really fun experience!

A couple of the fights including Kelsey and and earlier bout Saturday at HP Pavilion were great fights. Unfortunately there were a lot of unrated fighters on the card. My brother and I always go and the last 2 fights were given ungraded tickets far above what I would of purchased initially ringside because of Goldstar. Its always fun to go to Fight Night at the Tank though don't get me wrong we had a great time.

The event was good. Seats were really close but the floor area was lacking in air circulation. My husband and I ended up moving to seats up in the stands since it was cooler and we could see the ring much better. But for the price, a pretty good evening.

If you enjoy boxing, then this is a really nice event. I've never seen live boxing before and it was nice to see more than just one match. There were a lot of couples and even kids. It was very well run and I felt like I was at a professional event, not just some amateur boxers out to pick up a check. Just an aside about bringing the kids - - don't forget about the ultra skimpy clothing worn by the "card" girls after each round. By the way - - they're dressed about the same as the warrior / 49r cheerleaders - - it's not overboard. Definitely worth the price if you like boxing!

I kicked in for the premium floor seats and thought they were okay for the price. I was a little obstructed by the ring post but was very close. The fights were overall quality even though one team was overmatched. I may go again.

We had very good seats considering what we paid - the action was better than I expected considering these were mostly local fighters. Had a good time.

Had a great time. The refs were a bit eager to stop 2 of the fights but that's to protect the fighters. Great seats and an even better price.

I had a great time at the fight !!! Big fun and great fights. Some good wars. The blue team (Norcal) dominated and blanked the red team (Socal)5 to 0. The best seats I have ever had and looking forward to going again for the last 2 more installments of the year.I'll be back !

The seats were great and the show was good-much better than I expected it to be. I was close enough to see sweat flying! The price was right-only about 20 bucks each it was well worth every dollar

I wish it was more exciting. it isn't fun when the boxers are not very good. the floor seats were good, but it was the very last row of floor seats.. which really sucked.

    oh well.

December 4, 2009: Julaton vs. Biggers, Perez vs. Quintero

Featured in the evening’s main event will be Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton (5-1-1, 1 KO’s) of Daly City, Calif. who will be taking on Donna “Nature Girl” Biggers (19-8-1, 16 KO’s) of Boiling Springs, South Carolina for the WBO Super Bantamweight World Title. The bout is scheduled for 10 Rounds.    In the evening’s semi-main event, American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank veteran Eloy Perez (14-0-2, 3 KO’s) of Salinas will face San Jose’s own Arturo Quintero (15-4, 9 KO’s) for the NABO Jr. Lightweight Title.

In addition, American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank will feature three additional bouts featuring fighters from around the Bay Area.

Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton is the Fil-Am female fighting pride of the Philippines and is eager to be making her return to American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank where just last month she captured the vacant IBA Female Super Bantamweight Championship when she defeated Kelsey Jeffries (41-10-1, 4 KO’s) of Gilroy by scoring a 10-round majority decision.  In Biggers, Julaton will be facing an older and much more experienced fighter as Biggers is almost seven years older than Julaton and has more than four times the number of professional fights under her belt. Like Julaton, Biggers fought Jeffries in 2007 where she lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Jeffries for the IFBA International Female Boxers Association Featherweight Title.  This will be the first time that Julaton and Biggers have fought.   Eloy “The Prince” Perez returns to HP Pavilion for the fifth time in his career. Perez last fought at the Tank on March 7, 2009 when he appeared on the undercard of a televised event that featured Gilroy native Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero. That night Perez scored a fourth-round TKO over opponent Gabe Garcia in the bout which was scheduled for six rounds. Opponent Arturo Quintero looks to make his comeback on December 4 against Perez. Quintero last fought on July 20, 2006 at HP Pavilion at San Jose against Ulises Pena (14-6, 4 KO’s) where he earned a six-round unanimous decision. This will be Quintero’s sixth appearance at American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank.
