A 2012 GLAAD Award nominee, Qui Nguyen's heartwarming action comedy She Kills Monsters follows the exciting adventures of Agnes, a teenage girl getting ready to leave home. When she stumbles on her late sister's Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she takes off on a revealing quest that finds her battling evil cheerleaders, randy ogres and hostile faeries. Acclaimed Vietnamese-American playwright and fight director Nguyen mashes up reality and fantasy, and adds a dash of '90s pop culture to this empowering story about embracing your inner bad-ass. Nguyen's play is a hilarious homage to the geeky outcast in all of us. Learn More
