The Tony-nominated musical Side Show, inspired by the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, stars talented performers ages 14 to 20 from Children's Musical Theater (CMT) San Jose. The show follows the two sisters -- who're literally joined at the hip -- on their meteoric rise to fame during the 1930s and beyond, tracing their personal and professional lives from circus sideshow freaks to vaudeville headliners, as well as their lifelong search for independence and love. From Henry Krieger, the composer of Dreamgirls, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell, Side Show features the songs "I Will Never Leave You," "Who Will Love Me As I Am?" and "Come Look at the Freaks." Side Show is a cult-classic at CMT San Jose -- returning every seven years, it's now enjoying its third production there. Learn More

The lovely bride of the King of Baratiria comes to Venice to meet the man she was pledged to in childhood. She learns her young prince was mixed up with a gondolier’s son, so they must rule together until it is proven which is king! This delightful mix-up of Spanish royalty and Venetian gondolieri and contradine is filled with some of the most tuneful and dancable music in the gilbert and Sullivan canon. How will they resolve this complicated situation?
