I love Guy, and I enjoyed his portion of the show but there was many opportunities for improvement. The first chef really was not informative or entertaining. During his portion of the show there was only one camera angle so we could not see what he was doing at all.Written on Dec 17 2009
The "mixologist" which performed second was entertaining and somewhat informative but it was an obvious book plug. After hearing some of his recipes I was ready to buy the book however there was not any information to take with you. A simple handout/program with at least the basic information and their websites would have been welcomed, recipes would have made it even better. I will probably do some research and hunt up his book anyway.
I also noted that the first 2 performers played to the "pretty people" on stage. I understand that the tickets were $350 and I would have been disappointed to be completely ignored as some were.
The last portion of the show was Guy, who did not disappoint at all. Fun, good music and great smells.

I love Guy Fieri but this show didn't have enough of him cooking, sharing tips and story telling. The music was way too loud. I didn't expect to need ear plugs at a show like this! Intermissions were too long and filled with nothing but ear splitting music. They could have used the large screens during intermission to keep us entertained with clips from Guys TV shows. Instead we had to yell over the music to have a conversation with friends.Written on Dec 17 2009

The show was good. Guy Fieri made a couple of dishes in between story telling and bringing people on stage to sing karaoke. He could have spent more time cooking and sharing tips, but overall it was entertaining.Written on Dec 21 2009

Could have done without the two opening acts as they were sleepers and the Intermissions were too long. Guy was great though! Way beyond my expectations. Would go again.Written on Jan 04 2010

Description
The Guy Fieri Road Show is a two hour food-a-palooza, which pairs a high energy rock concert with Guy’s culinary krew. “We’ve been test-driving this concept on a smaller scale and the adrenaline of the crowd is through the roof,” explains Guy. “Putting on a show for my fans that marries food and rock-n-roll with blow-your-mind entertainment is a dream come true.”
Australian-based flair bartender Hayden “Woody” Wood, an effervescent entertainer and educator on all things liquid, will serve as the opening act. Ryan Scott will be featured as the local celebrated chef, and then Guy will take center stage with an unscripted and wildly entertaining performance, complete with interactive cooking stations, demos, behind the scenes stories from the road and more.
Guy stars in three top-rated shows on Food Network - Guy's Big Bite, Ultimate Recipe Showdown and one of the network's most popular shows: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. A best selling author, Guy’s second book hits stores in November titled More Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: A Drop-Top Culinary Cruise Through America’s Finest and Funkiest Joints. Guy also co-owns Johnny Garlic's (3 locations) and Tex Wasabi's (2 locations) in Northern California.
Born in Modesto, CA, Ryan Scott has cooked and learned in the kitchens of many of the country’s best chefs. He was a line cook at Restaurant Gary Danko, and staged with Daniel Boulud at Daniel in New York, Charlie Trotter at Trotter’s in Chicago, and Suzanne Goin at Luques and A.O.C. in Los Angeles. In late 2007 Scott was cast as one of 16 contestants on Bravo television’s national, top-rated reality cooking show, “Top Chef.” Shot in Chicago and judged by some of the country’s most famous chefs, the show was an exhilarating, highly educational and singular experience for Scott and his fellow contestants. Currently, Scott is focused on his catering company Ryan Scott 2go as a Private Chef.
