There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. It is pretty busy in the evening, especially when there are other events/shows and sports events on the same night as an Improv show. Plan ahead for long waits to dine and packed parking lots. In other words, get there early.

The weather was clear, brisk winter night. . I wore a short sleeved shirt. My past experience with this venue is that it gets stuffy. Layering is best. I had a thicker winter coat that I placed over my lap and was quite comfortable the entire show. .

Description

Information for comics

IMPROV management/bookers will be watching the talent for weekend emcee spots.

Pre-booked comics are expected to promote the show, you can tape your set, and more time will be given to comics that help bring a crowd. The show is ‘open’ in the sense that anyone can go up, this could be from being pre-booked or selected the night of the show.

If you show up with 5 paid guests you will get up and perform.

Show up, sign up, comics are selected through booker discretion (the more you hang out, the more likely you are to go up in the upcoming weeks).

No experience necessary to be considered for booking, it’s an open mic. Comics that promote their spot get more time.
