Reviews & Ratings

Performers were very enthusiastic, dancing was very good, trying to convey the inner city mood of Brooklyn? With exception of lead actress, overall the cast were average singers, with some of their lyrics & dialogue difficult to understand.
CMT San Jose presents the show that has been tagged as “The first musical of the 21st Century.” In the Heights is the winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Original Score. This high-energy show brings Tony-winning hip-hop dance moves to the stage through a contemporary Latin-flavored score; all the while telling a universal story of family, love and perseverance.
This show is recommended for those age 13 or older.
