Whether you own your own kilt or can't tell haggis from collops, this vibrant evening of Scottish music and Celtic dancing will transport you to the Highlands. Glenfiddich international fiddle champion Rebecca Lomnicky and bagpiper David Brewer, of the popular Celtic band Molly's Revenge, will provide the soundtrack with their blend of traditional Gaelic music and contemporary reels. The Margaret Wingrove dance company is so creative and captivating. The choreography grabs our attention and the music is wonderful. The performance is a treat to attend. Congratulations to the company celebrating its 25th anniversary.
On this program, The Changing Colors of Passion, Artistic Director and Choreographer Margaret Wingrove presents a world premiere The Pulse of Love, along with six highlights from various life stories. From uplifting love to tales of anguish and distress, Wingrove depicts the very essence of the deep-rooted passions that lay within us all.
