If you're going to any event at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts, consider having dinner and/or after dinner drinks at Paolo's. It's been there forever, and there's a reason for that! You can park in the structure, (enter on Woz Way), enjoy dinner, then just walk over the Guadalupe River bridge and you're at the Center! A whole evening of entertainment in one spot. :-)

They had mostly snacks and beverages available at the concessions. Didn't notice anything substantial to eat (wasn't looking, though). It's so close to downtown, so there's a lot of great dining options nearby for before or after.

Description

Experience the creation of the universe and the birth of civilization. See the Goddess of Earth descend from the heavens on a giant dragon. Explore the legends of ancient China. Witness some of the world’s great inventions…paper, printing, the compass and gunpowder. And watch the Zodiac come to life. This stunning production has brilliant costumes created in China and a commissioned score performed in a fusion of Western and traditional Chinese music. A “must see” ballet event.

This ground-breaking ballet was first brought to the stage in February of 2005 as a World Premiere by Ballet San Jose.
