Three movies, one man and a galaxy far, far away. In One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, writer-performer Charles Ross takes you on a hilarious, live action re-creation of the original Star Wars films. Ross plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings from John Williams' famous score, flies the ships and fights both sides of the lightsaber battles, complete with captivating facts and editorial asides. It's a hilarious, one-of-a-kind tribute to the sci-fi classic.

If you love Star Wars, you will enjoy this very talented guy review the movies for you in a very fast-paced and generally hilarious one-man show. With no props at all (except for some good lighting design), he recreates most of the major scenes, dialog, and actions that make the movies so much fun. His impressions are great. And he picks up some of the deeper humor in the movies too (with a sprinkling of ad-libs).

You have to love Star Wars and have seen the movies many time -- otherwise it will appear pretty silly. But my family (and everyone in the theater) were clearly fans of the brand already. Many kids came with light sabers and star wars masks -- making this a very festive celebration, in addition to a play.

It was just over an hour -- covering the "trilogy" (episodes IV, V, and VI -- the old ones). And he ended with a nice 10 minute talk about how this all came to be and what he's working on next (a one-man Lord of the Rings).

See the YouTube videos. If you like them, you'll love the show. Your kids will too.

This was hilarious if you were familiar with the movies. Even if not, he was still pretty funny. He is very talented and the sound effects were amazingly realistic.
