Rod still ROCKS!!! The whole show was great from his performance, the stage set-up, and last to his band and co-singers. The opener, The Kin was great too.

What I didn't care for was how loud the show was. The HP Pavilion "Shark Tank" doesn't have the best acoustics for concerts at high volume levels, (great if your at a sporting event). The loud sounds bounce off the flat metal roof and echo bad. When Rod did his soft solo songs the sound was great. I brought ear plugs which cut down the highs and bass and made it more enjoyable. I don't why sound engineers feel the need to turn up the volume at concerts. I'm not deaf. I don't need a bass massage...

GREAT concert! Rod sounded great and every song was a walk down memory lane. He still moves pretty well for his age! Wished that he could have played all night. He is a Must See for anyone that enjoys his music.

Rod Stewart show was great. Enjoyed the show although the band played so loud it was difficult to hear Rod sing. The entertainment and the musicians he works with were excellant. The seats were pretty good considering it was in the San Jose HP pavilion.

Rod and the band was great performance-wise! The sound system was set way too loud at least for our seats at the top side. The mix was frequently poor with the band drowning out the vocals which was too bad as Rod still sounded great by himself as did the back-up singers.

The sound for the lead in band, Kin, was even worse with the vocals being almost painful (and unintelligible) almost 100% of the time
