I had so much fun! The characters were just fantastic! A real feel good, take me back in time type of show.. The interaction was different for me and I loved it.. I really need to go more often. Sorry that Hawgs is closing. Love to eat there just before a show. So much class!Written on Jun 25 2010

First half was wonderfully cute. 2nd half felt a bit forced, but still full of fun. Characters were delightful. A real feel-good show.Written on Jun 16 2010

Description
Limited engagement! These girls are only in town for two weeks.
Follow the Wonderettes - Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match – from their 1958 Springfield High School prom to their ten year reunion! These girls tell the audience all about their lives and loves as they perform beautifully arranged high-octane and soulful renditions of pop favorites from the 50’s and 60’s. These memorable songs include “Mr. Sandman,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” “Lipstick on Your Collar,” “It’s In His Kiss,” “Son Of A Preacher Man,” and “Respect.” This fun-filled, high energy off-Broadway hit is a must-take musical trip down memory lane!
All four cast members have appeared in previous productions of this show.
Holly Davis (Betty Jean) performed in Wonderettes at Detroit's the Gem Theatre.
Christina DeCicco (Cindy Lou) played Cindy Lou in the final cast of the off-Broadway production of The Marvelous Wonderettes.
Lowe Taylor (Missy) recently played the role of Suzy Simpson in The Marvelous Wonderettes off-Broadway. Taylor has a long history with the show, having played the role of Missy at Musical Theatre West, Suzy at The Laguna Playhouse, and as a standby for The Wonderettes, she became the first actress to perform all four roles.
Bets Malone (Suzy) originated the role of Suzy in the first workshop of The Marvelous Wonderettes, and she traveled with it to a successful New York production and can be heard on the show's original cast album.
