A good night in the theater. It took a while to set the scene, but then the audience was prepared for the connections that grew among the characters. We liked it a great deal.Written on Feb 15 2010

The play was great and my wife and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the Rep seats are pretty well cramed together and it wasn't very comfortable.Written on Feb 15 2010

I had a great time. Actors all did a wonderful job and kept my attention. Nothing like a well told story - makes me wish we'd give up the electronics and get back to oral traditions. I'm not a big drinker but had to go home and have a "small one" and a beer to celebrate! My only issue was not having enough leg room to stretch. Otherwise, it was nice to be in a theater that's cozy and the stage/actors were easy to see. Thanks for a good time!Written on Feb 12 2010

Description
Valerie has moved from the city of Dublin to rural Ireland. Her real estate agent, Finbar, brings her into a pub where a group of lonely souls seek refuge from the bluster of the outside world. By telling stories, they create a haunting and poetic sense of family to break the silence of their isolation. When they discover Valerie has moved into a house considered “haunted,” the tales of the supernatural begin. Small mysteries evolve into eerie astonishments as the ghostly storytelling soars into liberating confessions of love, loss and loneliness. Half-hidden wounds are revealed throughout an evening of drink and ego-driven rivalry for Valerie’s attention, bringing these drinking buddies together in unexpected and deeply felt ways.
