I liked this venue, next to the San Mateo HS and free parking. Women's restrooms had lines of course, around 6 stalls but moved fairly quickly.
Seating is not clearly labeled, thank goodness for all the ushers showing everyone where they sit. The legroom was a little tight.
I think I was the youngest person there, mostly purple haired old ladies and men at the 2pm Saturday matinee.
The format of the production was different but I liked it, a commentator then Cy's lyricist collaborator gave personal accounts of working with Cy, some movie footage and 4 performers singing selected songs with a piano.
Around 1.5 hours, no intermission and the timing was fine.
Hearing 'If they could see me now" from Sweet Charity was awesome.
Snacks and Cy Coleman's CD were sold in the lobby.

The performers were all delightful, especially Jason Graae! And the stories told my Mr Zippel and the interviewer were a nice added touch. A very different experience from last season's Stephen Schwartz show. Left me wanting more!

Very professional for a local and imported from Broadway cast.
