It's the ultimate classic rock showdown as Beatles tribute band Abbey Road takes on the Rolling Stones tribute Jumping Jack Flash at Warner Grand Theatre. Abbey Road has not only mastered the music and harmonies of the Fab Four, but also capture the cheeky charm of the original lads from Liverpool with their authentic costumes, instruments and recreation of the boys' stage personas. Jumping Jack Flash also has the moves, duplicating Mick, Keith and the band's live concert magic, while reproducing renditions of the Rolling Stones' massive hit catalog. The two bands play five alternating sets over the span of two hours.

Our Price:

Encore Entertainers presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Warner Grand Theatre. With music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, it's one of the world's most successful musicals, with catchy tunes that stay in your head for days. This uplifting classic pop tale of Biblical proportions tells the story of Joseph, found in the Old Testament's Book of Genesis. Sold into slavery by his 11 jealous brothers, Joseph is taken to Egypt, where he rises through the ranks and grapples with the pharaoh -- who's acted in the hilariously flamboyant style of Elvis. This award-winning show sports a score by the legendary composing team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, and includes such memorable tunes as "Any Dream Will Do," "One More Angel," and "Close Every Door." I haven't been to the Warner Grand Theater before and was impressed in the older architecture and beautiful walls and ceiling.

The concert was better than I had expected and enjoyed it very much.

The music ROCKED! The groups were really entertaining. Yet, the theater and the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. They also lacked as far as snacks and driks go. I know they do the concert at other locations so I can't talk about them but at the Warner Theater in San Pedro I wouldn't want to go again.

More Information About Beatles vs. Stones

Description

Abbey Road:
With their tight harmonies, flawless note for note renditions of Beatles hits, custom-tailored costumes, vintage instruments, Liverpudlian dialect and precise attention to every detail, Abbey Road - A Tribute to the Beatles has honed their show to become one of the most musically and visually satisfying Beatle tribute acts in the world. Abbey Road recreates the magic, music, wit and charm of the Beatles, including the Fab Four's cheeky personalities, familiar onstage banter and patter between songs.

Jumping Jack Flash:
Imagine walking into your favorite 500-seat music venue and stumbling upon the Rolling Stones! They're all there; Mick is prancing and gyrating, Keith is ripping licks, posing with his trusty beat-up Telecaster. Charlie and Bill are laying down the back-beat, and depending on what time of night it is, either Brian Jones or Ron Wood round out the line-up. But there's a problem; this isn't London 1964, but rather Los Angeles 2012. Put down the pint and take a closer look mate, it's Jumping Jack Flash, the world's greatest tribute to the Rolling Stones!
