I enjoyed Valerie Plame's lecture very much. She was articulate and knowledgeable. She gave me a personal view of the CIA and confirmed what I thought about the executive branch of government under George W. Bush.Written on Mar 06 2011

Valerie Plame Wilson was a very interesting speaker. Most of us know what happened to her, but to get her perspective on the series of events leading up to her outing, was insightful. Also, it was interesting to listen to how she became involved with the CIA and why she loved what she did. She's a very smart, intellectual, and witty person. Also, she is very genuine. Both my husband and I enjoyed attending this lecture.Written on Mar 05 2011

Quotes & Highlights
- The 2010 movie Fair Game, starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn, was based on Valerie Plame Wilson's memoir.
Description
As a covert CIA Operations Officer, Valerie worked to protect America's national security and prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. She found herself at the heart of a political fire-storm when senior White House and State Department officials revealed her secret status to several national journalists. A subsequent investigation exposed what some dub as an act of treason; that Valerie's "outing" was coordinated with the involvement of key players in the Bush Administration.
At the podium, Valerie draws upon her best-selling book that inspired the movie Fair Game, laying out the CIA leak controversy in an incisive and enlightening presentation.
