Leapin' lizards! Attic Community Theater presents Annie. The beloved story of a plucky young 1930s orphan girl adopted by a wealthy businessman, Annie ran for nearly six years on Broadway and won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This delightful family show features a chorus line of precocious orphan waifs, a too-cute dog, the wickedly wretched Miss Hannigan, a larger-than-life Daddy Warbucks, and even an appearance by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It's also chock-full of some of Broadway's most memorable numbers, including "It's the Hard-Knock Life," "Easy Street," "N.Y.C." and the ever-optimistic "Tomorrow."

New Zealander Brett Hallam Holland is making a splash in the states as a singer-songwriter and solo acoustic guitarist after establishing a major performing career Down Under. With an eclectic style ranging from jazz to blues to rock, Holland managed to release not one, but two albums in 2012 -- both recorded in Nashville. Point of View showcases what he calls his "Amerikiwiana"-style vocals and songcraft, while The Zone is an acoustic instrumental disc filled with his innovative finger-style guitar-playing on original compositions and covers. Theater was really warm. Plus, stage is not elevated, therefor my kids could only see dancing shoulders and heads. Most frustrating is that the entrance and exit door is RIGHT next to the stage....so very rude patrons would come in and out of the curtain while just 2 feet away, the characters tried to remain in character....so very rude and an odd set up. On the good side, it was a really cute show. (what we could see)...everyone did a great job...Annie was really great. . I just suggest fans, and not allowing patrons to reenter during the show multiple times. enough parking and easy to find.
