view more less of this reviewI bought these tickets as my daughter just completed reading the book. I have always been very happy with the performances I have purchased through Gold Star. This time was different. This was an almost all children cast and I am sorry they were horrible. I have seen plenty of amature performances in my life and have found most of them to be fantastic. This was like a performance for parents who put their kids in a city drama class for the summer. I mean this should not be for sale on gold star...it was ridiculously bad. They kids spoke so fast...and unclear which I would think would be acting 101. This was a very sloppy poorly put together performance. We left after 40 minutes.
star this review starred report as inappropriateIf you thought you were going to see a semi- professional production, you are SO wrong. This
play was something that looked as if it was put on by vacation bible school students.
I was very disappointed. I would only go to this production if my child or grandchild were in it.
It was so slow, sophmoreic, and unprofessional. There
should have been a notice on your site to state that the play was done by inexperienced children.
star this review starred report as inappropriateI can't believe I paid for this show. It was just like a play from my daughter's third grade class, only it was worst. It was terribly boring and unprofessional (Templeton was reading his lines from a thick script). I couldn't wait for it to be over and some people left at intermission. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I will not return to any show at the Mysterium.
