NIcely done! several great laughs. Notable performances from Cap.Fisby and the army psychologist. Sakini was funny, too.

Earnest acting with minimalist costumes and set. The adult actors and actresses are quite good, as is the teenaged actor playing Sakini, the narrator of the play. The actress playing Lotus Blossum, the geisha, is the only performer who is...continued

This script is clever. I didn't know the story in advance so it was fun to find out it's a comedy even though there are some racial discrimination messages. The actress who played the geisha was definitely a stand out. The commanding officer...continued

This was my first time at the Mysterium Theater. I'm glad I read Yelp reviews before I got there, because I would never have found the place (it's in the chapel of a church) without a heads up.

The play was cute. I felt like I was watching a...continued

The woman who played the Japanese woman, the military men and the chubby woman were good actors and actresses but the others were not good actors at all. I would not recommend this play.

A fantastic surprise awaits us as we arrived at the Mysterium. It's a quaint little theater and the production was excellent. I am extremely impressed with the whole experience. It would be fantastic if more people knew about it. There were...continued

I was thoroughly captivated by the story, set and talented cast. What a delightful script brought to life by the sound tracks and overall ambience. A cross cultural step back in time punctuated by a touching final scene.

Thoroughly enjoyed the play! I enjoyed Colonel Purdy's expressive comedic performance. My favorite actor though, was Lotus Blossom. She was hilarious and made me laugh out loud. Her Japanese dance, tea ceremony and geisha mannerisms were very...continued

I thought the play was pretty good. Better than I've expected to be. Worth going to.

Nice little cozy place with a great cast. A funny and romantic history play.

Wonderful performance! The play was delightful and timely (even if it was written in 1951). The performances were good. Even my teenaged son enjoyed himself. This was the third time we attended a Mysterium performance and we will be back!

A great play in a tiny little theater. Some acting could have been better. Very good for seniors who may have served during WWII or the Korean War and spent time in Japan. Certainly worth the ticket price.

We were met by a glowering lady who curtly ordered us to sit in the back ( although open seating was advertised). The cast tried their enthusiastic best, but overall a disappointing experience. The lead role of Sakini was played by a teenager who...continued
