Recovery is not just for addicts. That is the theme of the new book, Gratitude and Trust, by authors Paul Williams (the noted songwriter) and Tracey Jackson (the screenwriter). During this talk for the Commonwealth Club, the pair will share their insights that they gained from going through the process of recovery, and discuss ways that others can implement these tools to improve their lives. Williams is an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe-winning Hall of Fame songwriter, and a graduate of UCLA¹s Drug and Alcohol Counseling Certification Program. Jackson is a screenwriter, author and blogger who wrote the films Confessions of a Shopaholic, The Guru and The Other End of the Line, among others. Learn More

Naomi was very enthusiastic and presented a positive energy talk. However, there was little to support her claims...the event was entertaining and spoke to the 'wishful thinking' part of my character; not helpful in the real world
