Recently sprung from one of the world's most notorious prisons, three ordinary Americans falsely accused of spying are ready to talk about their terrifying years as captives in Iran. In 2009, Shane Bauer, Sarah Shourd and Joshua Fattal crossed into Iranian territory while hiking on vacation. Captured by border patrol, they were charged with espionage and thrown into Tehran's Evin Prison for two years. Now, safely back on U.S. soil, they have written an upcoming memoir, A Sliver of Light, that explores the hard lessons -- and unanticipated graces -- of their imprisonment. Hear their incredible story in person at the Eagle Theater as the trio shares how they endured solitary confinement, health scares and the terrifying whims of a suspicious and hostile government. Naomi was very enthusiastic and presented a positive energy talk. However, there was little to support her claims...the event was entertaining and spoke to the 'wishful thinking' part of my character; not helpful in the real world
