Incredible intimate evening getting to know Roger McGuinn's musical journey. Great interviewer and great guest. Roger with his special Gibson guitar always in reach illustrated his indelible folk influence on rock. He generously punctuated the interview with examples of his work including full songs like Turn, Turn, Turn and 8 miles high. An evening to remember with a rock legend.

The Byrds are today considered to be one of the most influential bands of the 1960s. In January 1965 the groups recorded their first number-one hit, “Mr. Tambourine Man” and went on to enjoy a string of hits.
Roger McGuinn disbanded the Byrds in 1973 to pursue his dream of a solo career. He made five solo albums, then returned to his roots in folk, and began touring solo acoustic. His CD Treasures from the Folk Den was nominated for a Grammy in 2002 in the category of Best Traditional Folk Album.
Roger McGuinn’s CD, 22 Timeless Tracks from the Folk Den Project, will be available for sale at the event.
