Spring Awakening took Broadway by storm when it debuted, winning eight Tony Awards (including Best Musical). Punctuated by an electrifying and hauntingly beautiful rock score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, Spring Awakening follows a group of teenagers as they navigate the confusing and often troubled waters of adolescence and their budding sexuality. Based on an Expressionist play that caused a scandal in 19th-century Germany, it's a bold and touching musical that captures the timeless and turbulent experience of youth transitioning to adulthood. The characters must grapple with issues like teen suicide, pregnancy and identity -- tough topics that remain as relevant as ever. Learn More

The writer, director and actors took this funny concept and turned it into hilarious. No matter your beliefs, you'll see the humor in a daughter trying to please her parents. All actors did a great job - not over-reaching, so their characters are believable. Matt Landing (Bob, the actor boyfriend) will bring you heavy doses of laughter.
The theatre is small and casual. Our seats were exact center and the perfect distance from the stage. But the theater is small enough that any seat would be decent. Recommended for an evening of light entertainment.
What's a Jewish girl to do when she's dating a guy named Chris Cringle but wants to make her parents happy? Create a Jewish doctor boyfriend and hire an actor to play him, of course! And the hilarity that ensues as the plot unfolds is enough to make you say "oy!" Join the Morgan-Wixson Theatre for this comedy about the whole family, directed by Carol Becker and produced by Marc Ostroff. The cast includes Tali Blankfeld, Joanna Churgin, Matt Landig, JP Sarro, Jared Vandenberg and Jack Winnick.
