    More Information

Coming off the critically acclaimed, six-month run of the one-person, world premiere hit Caterpillar Soup and 16-week engagement of another one-person show Capture Now, Ruskin is staging a hugely popular comedy that has received rave reviews from The New Yorker, Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine and more.

"We are so proud of the amazing success of our touching and very personal one-person shows, and now we are eager to move back into the realm of a larger-cast, high-energy play," said Mike Myers, director of Beyond Therapy and Ruskin's managing director.

Beyond Therapy tells the story of Bruce and Prudence, both in psychotherapy and both neurotic, and their search for love. The play mines big laughs from such subjects as the cult of therapy, dating, pop culture, casual sex, and relationship commitment.

Although frequently done, the play has not been seen on a local professional stage for several seasons.
