Austen wrote only six novels, but they are some of the most beloved tales of love, misunderstanding, wit, wisdom, passion and betrayal ever told. Working from audience suggestions, Impro Theatre's ensemble creates a new and different Austen "story" every night, frequently throwing in ad-libbed scenes that would have made modest Jane blush. An absolute blast (plus a bargain, thanks to Goldstar), especially thanks to being preceded by a delicious English-style tea to get in the mood.

The cast adopts generic Jane Austen characters and follows a basic plot line ala Jane Austen based on a trivial topic suggested by the audience. Some parts were funny and some were flat...but improv is different every time, so if you are an Austen fan, you will find it amusing.
Some audience members kept expecting or asking for characters or stories from the books, which, of course, never happens.
