An explosive true story of lust, lies and obsession, talhotblond brings Emmy-winning journalist Barbara Schroeder's feature documentary to the stage in a chilling drama. A married man becomes involved in an online love triangle with an 18-year-old girl going by the screen name talhotblond. But what the man doesn't know about her eventually leads to tragedy. In this cautionary tale for our times, nothing is what it seems. Kathrine Bates, author of the long-running Los Angeles favorite The Manor, adapts this shocking and timely story. Learn More

Run, don't walk , to this ab-fab show. The Ruskin has another hit on it's hands, as this very dark play holds your attention throughout, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Acting was superior, with Zach Book and Chris Mulkey doing their finest work. Jaimi Paige, who I had seen in The Collector here at the Ruskin, played another complicated and haunting role. I can't say enough about this so real, explosive, sad family story about lives in rural Appalachia (although it could be anywhere). Kudos to all connected with it!!
A Southern Gothic tale of one family, trapped by its own tradition. The obsession with an American icon brings hope of salvation for them, as they continue to invest in the dream that American pop culture promises. Helmed by award-winning director Karen Landry and starring veteran TV and film actor Chris Mulkey, as well as Jaimi Paige, Robert Mollohan, Kathleen Parker and Zach Book, Jesse Boy is a world premiere sure to make an imprint on the Los Angeles theatre scene.
