Though it may be a 'tale as old as time,' Inland Pacific Ballet has found a way to make Beauty and the Beast terrifically new in its dazzling original adaptation of the fabled story. When her father is abducted after picking a rose from the garden of the mysterious Beast, Beauty offers herself in exchange for her parent's safety. Thus begins a journey of love and transformation for both herself and the Beast. Featuring a score of classical masters including Dvorak, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn, Beauty and the Beast also features spectacular sets, stunning costumes and amazing theatrical effects. The addition of sublime choreography makes this ballet a feast for the senses, one to be savored long after the lights come up. Learn More

This was a wonderful evening of thoughtful, beautiful, humorous, evocative movement pieces. Everyone I talked to in the audience was moved. Lydia Zimmer's piece was breath taking in its sensitivity, Qualia explored a range of human desires with intensity and lovely dancing. Anne and Jeff Grimaldo's witty sensibility spark curiosity and delight.
