The Memorandum centers on Josef Gross, a bewildered executive whose office has abruptly adopted a new "scientific" language that nobody understands. Now he must navigate a labyrinth of red tape while under constant surveillance in an effort to have an indecipherable memo translated. Written by legendary Czech playwright and revolutionary leader Václav Havel -- who was the last president of Czechoslovakia and the first president of the Czech Republic -- The Memorandum skewered the absurdities of bureaucracy decades before cult films like Brazil and Office Space. This 1965 comedy is (unfortunately) still very timely and (fortunately) still very funny. Learn More

I took my 4 year old granddaughter, this was her first play. She did nothing but talk about her experience all the way home. I think every princess/ prince should see show, actors are very engaging . Another big plus is the audience can take pic with the cast after the show.

Blackouts and lighting effects are used in this production.
