A. R. Gurney's The Dining Room is a two-act play consisting of eighteen overlapping and unrelated vignettes, all staged in one elegant dining room at different time periods. In what has been described as "a seamless collection of moments," the show presents a spectrum of glimpses into the human condition: the joys, sorrows, love and comedy that accompany family life. Family saga over generations, built around "the furniture"
rather than the heart. "WASPS"? Interesting to see how maybe, one's parents lived and the massive gap between then and today...

This was a really enjoyable evening of theatre! Some truly outstanding performances, some laughs, and several moments that have stayed with me. I loved the time travel and traffic as dozens of stories flowed in, through and around the Dining Room. Really nicely done.Written on Jan 31 2012

This was an excruciatingly funny production. Strong cast that works well together and their pace is just right. The actress playing Toni taping her batty aunt was a riot and the actress playing Peggy at the children’s party gave zest to the character, her transformation to the old lady maid was flawless. The old maid in the last scene was a droll-so cute she’s my fav. Very talented. Writing, acting and staging were expertly done. One of our friends had never before seen a play and after seeing this one wants to go out to the theatre more. Great show! We would highly recommend seeing it.Written on Mar 18 2012

I hate to even give a bad review, however, I want to be honest for anyone who may be considering seeing a show in the future.
It just simply wasn't enjoyable. I could elaborate, but I won't.
It was a beautiful performance space, however. So, that was a plus.
