Me and three of my friends attended this event last night and we all thought tha it was very boring. The person who taught the class spoke of many things that had nothing to do with wine. He spoke of movies and places he had been and had wine. Most of the wines were not very tasty. Spoke to a person in line and they pretty much had the same feelings that we had. Another person stated that they have learned more about wine by having dinner with friends who new something about wine than they did from the class.Written on Apr 22 2008

I was not satisfied with the event whatsoever because the host spent more time talking about himself and his love for wine, versus teaching about wine. I received more information from the handout, but I expected the host to explain the hows and whys about wine. The location was fine, with the exception of the fact that it was difficult to hear because of the restaurant below. I still want to learn about wine, but felt I learned more when I went to wineries on my own and asked questions.Written on Apr 22 2008

Hello,Written on Apr 22 2008
I have been to Learnaboutwine.com events in the past and I feel this time, the leader was too verbose and went off on tangents. They began 1/2 hour late and being a Monday night, people were tired and seemed annoyed.
It was informative, just dull.

Though the class didnt contain much new information about wine (if you have done this type of thing before) it was still at a good venue and fun.Written on Apr 22 2008
